Pecan-Chocolate Chip Coconut Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1-1/2 to 2 cups pecan halves

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Beat first four ingredients until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Whisk together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and coconut.
  2. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Top each with a pecan half.
  3. Bake until lightly browned, 9-11 minutes. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.
