Total TimePrep: 30 min. Bake: 15 min./batch + cooling
Makesabout 4 dozen
Just made these for the first time. They tasted good but more work than anticipated. If you make these do them all at one time. I made the dough and baked them the next day and the dough wasn’t warm and soft. They were hard to cover after putting in the filling. Not sure I would make them again. They do go great with holiday tea.
I agree with Sarah’s review. These are crumbly and kind of hard to keep together, and the taste is fine but not amazing. If I’m gonna eat all these calories, I want to *love* my cookie. Not worth the effort for the result.
The first batch I made I didn’t read the recipe all the way thru, they turned out good but it was a mess to roll. The 2nd ones I made as the recipe said but I made them big to get the filling inside and then covered, they tasted good but they are huge,I will try a 3rd time but make them smaller and put the filling inside before I roll them or skip the filling all together.
I followed the recipe. The dough was super crumbly, very difficult to mold and fill/cover the top. We ended up throwing out half of the dough and only made one tray. The cookies didn’t roll well in the peppermint. They were dry and bland. We ended up throwing out the one pan I made. Will not be making these again.
havent made it yet, but using this recipe to get an A in cooking
