Mixing festive red cranberry juice, Triple Sec and champagne creates a fun cocktail for Christmas parties, a New Year's Eve bash or any get-together during the fall and winter seasons. Garnish with a few fresh berries and enjoy. —Taste of Home Test Kitchen

  • 1 ounce cranberry juice
  • 1/2 ounce Triple Sec, optional
  • 4 ounces chilled champagne or other sparkling wine
  • 3 fresh cranberries


  • Pour cranberry juice into a champagne flute or wine glass. Add Triple Sec if desired. Top with champagne. Garnish as desired.
Editor's Note: To make a batch of Poinsettias (6 servings), slowly pour one bottle (750 ml) chilled champagne into a pitcher. Stir in 3/4 cup cranberry juice and 3 ounces Triple Sec if desired.

    We made this to serve with appetizers for the first stop of a progressive Christmas party. It was delicious...however for the second batch we made with Asti Spumante and it was 10 stars!!! Next time we will freeze some cranberries to put in the flute before serving with perhaps a slice of orange!
