Punch Delight

When we celebrated my mother's 75th birthday, we wanted a punch everyone could enjoy. This delightful combination of lemonades, juice and soda was perfect and so easy to make. All of our guests loved this yellow punch recipe. —Barbara Koehnke, Fremont, Wisconsin

I served this punch at a bridal shower on 8/24/13 on a 100+ degree day here in sunny California. I did so not having tried the recipe before, so I was taking somewhat of a risk, however, I trusted the reviews. I made it exactly as the recipe calls for. All I can say is this punch was a GIGANTIC HIT with EVERYONE!!! I appreciated that it only took a few minutes to put together, and that the blend of lemonades and orange juices did not make it taste too fruity, and that the Mello Yellow and lemon-lime soda gave it a light fizz. One guest told me she was on her 8th cup (12 oz. plastic cup!!) and would be heading back for more! At the end of the shower, the punch bowl was empty. I definitely will be serving this punch again because it is a 5-star winner!!!

I made this for my son's 3rd b-day party and the feedback was mixed. Some really liked it, but others thought it was too tangy. For me, it was too tangy from all the lemonade and oj. It was very simple to make though.

Put a lot of trust in the reviews on this recipe & made it for a family baby shower . . . without a test run. It was a hit! I made it with Mountain Dew & Sprite - even the ones who claim to dislike Mtn Dew, loved it! This will definitely be my 'go to' punch recipe. Leftovers make a pretty good breakfast juice too!

I served this recently at a reception. Took a risk, as I served it without a test run to see whether it would taste OK. People raved about it and many asked for the recipe. I used diet sodas as a way to cut a few calories and I don't believe that it affected the taste at all. This goes in my "keeper" file!

I used Mountain Dew/7-Up and to kick it up for "adults only" 1-2 cups Spiced rum. My guests throughly enjoyed the the mix.
