Quick Clam Chowder

A Great Starter Recipe. I added: 4TBS Butter 1 can (15 ounce each) diced potatoes drained 1 can (4.5 ounce each) mushrooms drained, could use fresh 6 strips of bacon cooked crisp and diced 2 stalks of celery diced 1 medium onion diced Saute the celery, onion, mushrooms and potatoes in the melted butter. I used salted butter but did not add and other salt. Cook the rest as above except for the claim and bacon. Let it simmer on very low heat for a few hours. Add the clams and bacon the last 15 min. Every one liked it very much but said there should be more. You could double the recipe!
This was easy to make and everyone in my family loves it
While this recipe was indeed very easy to make, it as extremely bland. It did not taste like any clam chowder I have ever had.
