• 1 pound smoked kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed French onion soup, undiluted
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1-1/2 cups uncooked instant rice


  1. In a large saucepan, combine the first six ingredients. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Remove from the heat. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir before serving.
