I made this with the “Sweet and Savory” variation provided in the directions using Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce as my bbq sauce of choice. I trimmed as much fat as possible from ribs (6lbs of ribs became about 4lbs after trimming) and liberally seasoned ribs with Weber “Steak ‘N Chop“ seasoning before placing in slow cooker. Additionally, I added (approximately) 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes, 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup honey, 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice, and a tablespoon of sriracha chili sauce to the sauce mixture before pouring over ribs in slow cooker. Everyone (even my 9 and 12 year old kids) raved about this dish and said they were the best ribs (it really became pulled pork) ever!!! Soooned slow cooker sauce over top and added side of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce... Easy to make, will definitely prepare again!!!

Such a simple but tasty recipe! It's great to use the slow cooker when it's steaming hot outside.

Made these delicious ribs for dinner last night. I added 1 tablespoon of dried onion flakes and 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce to the sauce mixture and instead of making them in the slow cooker, I braised in a 275 degree F oven for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. They turned out fall-apart tender and juicy and saucy. Next time I'll try making them in my slow cooker..... either way, a very delicious way to prepare country style ribs! I also want to try making boneless skinless chicken thighs with this recipe ..... Five stars for sure!

I have made this recipe for Many years now. I sometimes switch it up for the grill by first using 1/2 pkg of dry Onion Soup Mix. Dry rub the ribs and let marinate in the frig for at least 4 hrs. Then I grill on indirect heat until almost done. Then coat the ribs well with the combined sauce, and grill until carmelized.

I made this for our Father's Day meal and it was a hit! The meat was tender and the sauce was great! I'm not normally a fan of ribs because I associate them with messy however I was looking for "man" food and this fit the bill. I didn't think I would be won over by them but I was pleasantly surprised. They were very easy to throw together also!

I made this great recipe this weekend. There are so many rib recipes, I was hoping I chose the right recipe to try...boy, I was not disappointed. The ribs were tangy, but not overly so and were perfectly cooked in the slow cooker. Very tender. It was a great recipe and I am adding it into our list of "go to" meals!
