Slow-Cooked Lamb Chops
Total TimePrep: 10 min. Cook: 4 hours
Wonderful recipe. Lamp chops were flavourful with very simple ingredients. Will continue to use this recipe in the future.
These were good. Nice herb combination. I had to use dried minced garlic. I will certainly do these again.
Absolute rubbish. Such a shame to have wasted lamb on this recipe. Dry and herbs didn't do the meat any justice.
Such a flavourful and aromatic dish! I used lamb steaks instead of chops and they fell apart coming out of the slow cooker ? 10/10 Also for anyone wondering there is no liquid needed for this dish. (I poured the juices over the lamb for serving)
Lovely and simple - used chops from a butcher not supermarket- meat just fell of the bone ! Don’t forget to used the juice and onions left in the slow cooker to add to the gravy -
This sounds wonderful, but as I live alone, I'm wondering if I can freeze this in individual portions and what would be the best method to do this?
I am new to slow cookers so I tried this. I was delighted to find that liquid is not always required. This has been a keeper of a recipe. Simple and very very tasty. I have also used it with bacon chops pork chops and steak. Perfect every time. Thank you
This recipe was so simple and absolutely delicious. Onions and lamb itself created cooking liquid. The only thing I might do next time is add a bit more onion, I couldn't get enough!! Yum!!
About the water...I created the account just to answer about the water, and NO, you don't need to add any water because the lamb will release liquid enough during the cooking process.I am a beginner and gave this recipe a chance because it looked easy - and it really is! No secrets, just follow what they say and you will have a delicious dish! =)
Have given it 5 stars because it looks good so far but as asked prior Do you need any liquid with this recipe? It is now 2017 and still no one has answered this question which is quite a simple one really. I am just about to make this meal for tonight and am hoping that it does not need liquid but if I have any doubts I will be adding some stock.
