Spicy French Dip

If I'm cooking for a party or a family get-together, I can put this beef in the slow cooker in the morning and then concentrate on other preparations. It's a time-saver that never fails to get rave reviews. —Ginny Koeppen, Winnfield, Louisiana

Has anyone tried this recipe with fresh jalapenos versus the canned pickled one? Husband doesn't like anything pickled but this certainly sounds good!

This was a fun new take on French dips! The spicy flavor was a hit with my family. Cooking it in the crock pot took all the work out of it, and it was nice to come home to supper ready!

Bette, If you cook it that long it does not matter how you cut it, It is going to fall apart any way you slice it!

Cut roast in half? Which direction? vertical or horizontal? Makes a difference.Very irritating lack of specific information.
