Spinach Rice

I like to serve this Greek-style rice dish alongside steaks with mushrooms. It makes an elegant side that can be doubled for guests. —Jeanette Cakouros, Brunswick, Maine

Really tasty, simple but clever. I imagine it lends well to adaptations. Thanks so much!

I really appreciated this recipe I needed something tasty and cheap. I sautéed the onions and then used regular white rice I just added the water to the onions with parsley and cooked the rice. I also used fronzen spinach and servers it immediately. I also like to add my own seasonings and next time I will experiment with adding mushrooms or cheese

I prepared this dish tonight. I used instant brown rice but it took much longer to cook. Next time I will use instant white rice or cooked brown rice. I will decrease the oil, too, and add a little more spice. I used baby spinach and it was delicious. We both cleaned our plates. This is quick and easy to prepare.

This recipe was very tasty and quick. I would make it again using less water and more spices. Maybe add some mushrooms and garlic.

This is a good side dish. Gets people to eat spinach even tho they wouldn't eat it plain. Could use a little more seasoning - whatever kind you like. Maybe onion powder.  I boiled it a few minutes after I added rice.
