Strawberry Lemonade

  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1 quart fresh strawberries
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cups cold club soda
  • Lemon slices, optional


  • Place half of the water, strawberries and sugar in a blender; cover and blend until smooth. Transfer to a large pitcher. Repeat with remaining water, strawberries and sugar. Stir in lemon juice, then add soda. Serve immediately, garnished with lemon if desired.

    I'd made this beverage and used ginger ale. I'd made the recipe when it first appeared in TOH and processed the beverage in batches: part of the strawberry base, emptied it into a large pitcher, then did balance of recipe and added the ginger ale. This was very refreshing and I admit that I really enjoyed this lemonade! delowenstein

    I made only half the recipe and it was very good. I was wondering if the strawberries could be replaced with grapes? Or something else? Anyone tried?

    This lemonade tastes very similar to a party punch. It was easy and very affordable to make. I will definitely be making this again. Tasty!
