All the "cookie monsters" I know love these treats. I enjoy the them because they're easy to roll up, cut and bake. The strawberry-walnut filling is very tasty! —Ruth Gillmore, Alden, New York

  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
