Stuffed Party Mushrooms

“I created this recipe with things I had in my fridge. Now it’s one of our party-time favorites. We fix them all the time with different kinds of cream cheese, but I never seem to make enough!” Tara Sturgeon - Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota

About to put these in the oven. I've been making these since I found the recipe in the Quick Cooking 2010 yearbook. They are fantastic! Today, I'm using regular spreadable cream cheese and some of my own spices. Tasted great as I was stuffing the mushrooms. Sometimes it's hard to find the vegetable, so you just have to make substitutions.

I made these for Christmas Eve - REALLY good. I used reduced fat cheese and low-fat mayo. My daughter did the stuffing and we forgot to top with cheese before baking and that was just fine.
