The Best Ever Pancakes

I'm not joking when I say I make pancakes every weekend. I love them in any form and variation. —James Schend, Taste of Home Deputy Editor

I don't know why my review posted with all those crazy letters and numbers, but here it is again: These really are the best pancakes ever! I had almost given up making homemade pancakes before finding this recipe and I've been making it ever since. The recipe couldn't be easier and makes the thick, fluffy pancakes we prefer. When making homemade pancakes is this easy, why would anyone use a mix?! An added bonus is knowing you're serving your family something made from all natural ingredients with no artificial flavors, additives, or chemicals. And that's something you can feel good about!

Love these pancakes, I usually have everything but buttermilk, so next time I make them I’ll substitute whole milk. They are better and almost as easy as Bisquick pancakes

These were not good at all. They were not fluffy and they just did not have the taste I want from my pancakes. I will not be making these again.

Truly delicious!! I use powdered buttermilk , as it's so handy and I always have it on hand. Just put the powder in with the dry ingredients, and the water in the liquids! I made with fresh blueberries, and can't wait to make them again. I didn't even use any syrup, just buttered and enjoyed!

This is my favorite recipe except I use vegetable oil instead of butter. Next time I make them I’ll add butter. I also add extra milk to thin the batter down somewhat as I don’t care for really thick pancakes. It doesn’t affect the flavor, it only affects thickness
