Wonderful t recipe!! The only change I made was to add another can of tuna. Not a strong tuna taste nor is the curry strong in taste.
I have to comment because I was surprised to see Dorothy’s name after all these years. I suppose I shouldn’t be so surprised, she was an excellent cook and I believe a regular contributor to this magazine. Sadly, this grand lady passed in 2001. I remember her fondly and it is so nice to see that folks are still able to share and enjoy her recipes!
Thanks, Dorothy, from a fellow Kansan ! Didn't think I'd care for this since curry is NOT MY THING, but after having the recipe in my "TO TRY" list for three years or so, I made it today. WOW ! What a delightful spread I'll make again and again ! I put it on a toasted English muffin and topped with a slice of home-grown tomato....just excellent.
I am going to make this recipe only I am going to use dill instead of curry. Sounds absolutely great for parties!!foodiequeen
Instead of curry I use cumin (personal preference) Next time I'll add a can of deviled ham too, thanks to aider14 idea =^..^=
we love this curry tuna combo, even on veggies for the kids to dip carrots, and on celery.bread or crackers too.. yum
it tasted very good. i have a similar receipe i do use a whole bar of cream cheese(full fat) i use two cans of tuna and i put a can of deviled ham spread. i also put mayo. i put all the ingredients in the food processor until it reaches a spreading constiency. you can have it with bread or crackers.
simple and delicious..........thank you
