Best French Toast EVER!
No adjustment needed. I’ve made it as directed and I’ve also made it with cinnamon bread. Great either way.
WONDERFUL! I only added extra vanilla because I do that in every recipe haha.

Delicious! The only change I made was the bread. I used 12 slices of cinnamon swirl bread. It was so good, we will have this again and again.

For a simple breakfast, this is pretty good. I have also combined it with a couple of different recipes to make a french toast bake. For the bake, I use texas toast or brioche bread, add 1/2 tsp of nutmeg (freshly grated if you can), a 1 tsp of cinnamon and 2 Tbsp to 1/4 cup brown sugar. Then, in a preheated 350 degree oven,, coat pan with butter, layer or tear bread then pour over the egg mixture and bake about 25 minutes. Easy for a small crowed but the recipe as it stands is great, too. We don't use syrup but do sprinkle liberal amounts of powdered sugar on the finished french toast or french toast bake.
Good basic French Toast, though I was expecting more "pop" from the vanilla.
Perfect recipe to teach my son to make french toast! We used whole milk instead of skim, next time we'll add a bit of cinnamon to the egg mixture.
