I agree with previous comments, after preparing recipe as originally published, when tasting the lemon filling it needed more lemon. I ended up adding the juice of one lemon which is approx. 1/4 cup more. If not for this I would have given a rating of 5 stars.
This was a super easy recipe and turned out perfect.
I’ve never made lemon merengue pie before. Always too scared to try but so glad I tried this recipe. Was easy and turned out super delicious! I added a tiny bit more lemon juice as recommended by a few reviewers. My family really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to make it again!
I knew when I read the recipe I would want more lemon flavor. I used 1 1/2 cup water and 3/4 cup lemon juice everything else I followed recipe directions. Perfect lemon pie. Thanks for a great recipe. It's a keeper!

is it possible to make this in small shot glasses?
First Lemon pie I made from scratch. It is the best one I have tasted in years. Others have made these, but in my opinion this one is the best recipe ever.
Have tried other recipes, always come back to this.

This recipe was easy to make, but it didn't have enough lemon flavor or "tartness" for my taste. The texture was fine. If I made it again, I would add more lemon juice as one reviewer suggested.
